Free Courses – AEGEE-Firenze

TARGETS

The courses are aimed at young students and workers between 18 and 35 years old, with exceptions depending on availability of places.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Foreign language lessons are taught by university students and native speakers. In addition to language courses, there are also courses organized by enthusiasts of various topics, such as art or yoga. Given the closeness in age between students and teachers, an environment is created where students’ needs are easily accommodated by teachers.

The courses consist of 10 lessons of approximately one and a half hours each, from the week of March 10th until May/June. The courses will take place either in person at ZAP, Vicolo di Santa Maria Maggiore 1, (Florence) or online using the Google Classroom platform.

Some courses have a lower number of lessons or take place in locations other than ZAP. These variations are indicated within the registration forms.

REGISTRATION

• The courses are FREE if you already have an AEGEE-Florence membership card (€15) paid within the year.
• If you have a membership card and are selected as a student (with specific confirmation email), you will only be required to pay the deposit (€20 which will be returned to you at the end of the course if you participate in at least 7 out of 10 lessons).
• If you are not a member of AEGEE-Florence and are selected as a student (with specific confirmation email), you will be asked to pay the membership fee (€15) and the deposit (€20 which will be returned to you at the end of the course if you participate in at least 7 out of 10 lessons) for a total of €35.
• If you already have an Erasmus AEGEE-Florence card (€5) and are selected as a student (with specific confirmation email), you will be asked to pay another 10 euros and the deposit (€20 which will be returned to you at the end of the course if you participate in 7 out of 10 lessons) for a total of €30.
• The mandatory deposit of 20 euros is required to encourage participation. The total amount will be refunded if the student participates in at least 70% of the lessons.
